So I've completely stopped making pencil sketches and draw only with ballpoint pen now. ( I wonder if anyone's noticed... )

Of course there are still - and always will be - drawings that turn out bad, but I'm very happy not to have bits of pencil I can't erase off of my finished drawings anymore. When a drawing turns out right, it looks a lot nicer to me. ^^;

Without patting myself on the back too much, I can only do this due to practice, practice, practice. Took me a while to get back to this skill-level after years of, well, not drawing all that much. ( No idea how that happened, to tell you the truth. )

I can only hope to get better still with... you guessed it: more practice. Lucky thing I like to draw, huh? ;)

I use Micron pens, they have a nice selection of tip sizes (depending on the store they can sometimes stock more than just black pens, I've got a red one I sometimes use to shake things up). They stand up well to erasers, so after I do my pencil work and ink things in I can just erase all the pencil for a nice clean looking picture. Where I live they are nice and easy to come by, but I don't know about the Netherlands. They run about 2.90 in US dollars each, but thankfully they tend to last a while.
